You need to two people to connect the bottom and top to the shelves. Instruction could be a little clearer, but bottom line enjoy the look and works perfect in the space I purchased the bookcase for.

I was pleased at the quality, especially of the wooden top. There is nothing cheesy about this piece. It went together smoothly, too. The depth of the cubicles is ideal for DVD storage in back with a decorative piece in front. The only draw back is that our Blue Ray player was 1/8th of an inch too wide, so measure carefully if you use as an entertainment center.
